DAS provided General Contractor services for the construction of a new fire station in Greenfield, MA.

 

The project consisted of the new main headquarters and a storage annex, totaling 20,234 square feet. The station includes five bays and training spaces on the lower end and living spaces, bunks, and a museum on the upper end. The station meets the MA Stretch Code and is all electric with exception of back up energy. The roof was designed to support future installation of photovoltaic panels.
