DAS provided Owner's Project Management services for the renovation and expansion to the existing library in Holyoke, MA.

 

The goal of the project was to retain the historic character of the existing building, and accommodate community needs for at least the next 20 years. The project included the renovation of the existing 1902 Greek Revival library (25,000 sf) and the construction of a new addition (15,000 sf). The project has created a modern library that is a warm and vibrant focal point of community life while revitalizing a historic downtown location. The integrated design addresses energy and water efficiency while achieving LEED Silver certification.
