DAS was the developer on this project, and provided General Contracting services for the renovation of a 1900's-era brick building in Northampton, MA. The historic Coach House, located in Village Hill, is about a mile from downtown Northampton, and surrounded by conserved woodlands, farmland, and a large community garden.

 

A one-of-a-kind in design & construction, Phase II of the Coach House development blended high-end contemporary sensibilities with a cool industrial aesthetic; incorporating original chestnut beams, glass, and steel to unusual effect.

 

The 2nd floor apartments include an open floor plan, and features such as: local ash floors, custom oak cabinetry, zinc counter-tops, high ceilings, multiple skylights, and innovative lighting throughout.
